Metal..Doom Me- POST-ROCK?! Sign me up, why not??

Feels like Deathconsciousness but more metal. Totally worth checking, it’s not all scary like it’s extreme metal. This album is very atmospheric, melodic and structural overall and the drums are very catchy, and more ambient times, feels like the sweet spot of Metal and Post-Rock. Mirror Deep is maybe worst introduction to album I heard, it’s straight hitting Metal with lesser melody. First Red Rays is totally recommended visiting if you didn’t really want to listen the album, the most melodic here, also applied to Blind with more slow-paced structure. Seething and Scattered have an heavy Linkin Park vibes, especially the stretching in the intro, Untethered is great nonetheless with In the Waiting Hours less heavier and more acoustic beautifully. Last Light is very ethereal closing track, the longest here and perfect.

I’m not even a fan of Metal, I only listen like 2 albums (Love Is Not Enough and Lonely People With Power) before which is..weird for me to liking something that less accessible. This album is for who likes Metal occasionally, but Post-Rock all the time. It’s also imperfect, I just didn’t like the intro tracks.
