Welp, didn’t see it coming.

So before, I never a fan of Bedroom Pop songs, and also I didn’t listened any singles on the rollout. For me, it’s just side quest from @aCriticalXCXfan and this is heavily underrated I think, I never listened an single song from this artist before and it’s does a good job.

So It Starts… is an very melodramatic Orchestra instrumental as intro that honestly makes me even more enthusiastic. Based on the first song Make It All Better, the production is felt very minimalist and the vocals are weights so much, the ad libs, glitchy and echoes vocals all over the songs is very ethereal, the aotycore atmosphere Drum and Bass vibes is also there. To Love Somebody is more uplifting, it’s screaming out the Billie Eilish style for me but with richer genre blends and better production for me. Cruel World is actually way more enjoyable to me, it’s both beautiful and upbeat, the Soft Rock takes with playful elements, the vocals are nice to my ear and catchy. Die Happy is more melancholic and Psychedelic, thought the instruments is way too short in most time. Now goes into my claimed song White Noise, and actually not bad. Very dance-able and psych, but the chorus is kinda off, especially the “DJ”.. Also there’s no the White Noise element, disappointed..

Lucy is downtempo guitar-oriented song maybe, didn’t see any impression to it. Also takes Red Chevy, which is another Soft Rock oriented and kinda remembered me to Secret Love Song, the chorus is kinda weighting down compared to others, but still memorable. Drunk Dialling gives me Big Music vibe, and the best vocal performance compared to previous tracks, combined with dreamy synths. Peachy is more vocal weighted with Downtempo instrument, and this typical concept is well executed here. Blue Dream is have that great smooth soul drum and bass atmosphere, again nice vocal flow. Beauty Pageant is simply the best vocal performance and nice closing track, the vocals and vibe is just beautifully pleasing, great Mom song.
