It’s Sunday obviously, searching for some music and lost in atmosphere of Ambient and Pianos of EUREKA. And then I remember:
You know Windows 7? That has some built-in songs, focus with Bob Acri - Sleep Away. I was a child back then, and really obsessed by the beauty of Jazz pianos. That’s the first song I love ever. Pianos are easily drained my emotions back then. I’m a child, but already feels something nostalgic. The few songs I really liked before I tapping the music world, is like ringtones, Samsung’s Over the Horizon 2021 that composed by pianist Yiruma, and early LG ringtones. I’m used to being in Music and Dance art.
In music, I memorize national music notes with melodica, like Ambilkan Bulan Bu that I still remembered until now. And I can’t regret by joining Dance, the musics are awesome. I keep asking the teacher what is the song name and get confused, until I realize that’s obviously the name. Dendang Delapan Etnis Sumut, Erkata Bedil, Tari Mekarsi Dalu Dendang to name few. My childhood is wasted over musics. I didn’t know Kendrick Lamar, Porter Robinson, or The Weeknd. But I know what good songs sounds like. I already handpicking songs, I didn’t really like common Pop songs, the songs I mentioned is basically the limited world I live in.
Art is the most awesome thing ever. Art of editing videos, socializing with Gachatubers that I used to be in early 2021, listening and making music, making books, making apps, customizing my linux, customizing my Android mobile, portraying my face everyday in Daily You. I’m maybe sometimes gets mental breakdown, but then there’s always a lot of reasons to life. I’m just like an school kids, I still wants to learn everything.
And to be honest, I just like the creator. “As a kid I used to beatbox in the car and hummed melodies when I looked out the window.”
As simple as the title track itself, without poppy lyrically or very structured somewhat, the instruments just goes like that the whole track. Which is also goes to keep me close that even progressively get more hitting. ravens & crows is an 6 minutes full of richly structured Piano eargasm. It’s for real just like that, Piano piano piano. Either it’s not pop, there’s no drops cause it’s not Electropop, progressively more hitting, or the intros are very hard like cascade. Goes to every songs, it’s just passed by. I speechless. Even I didn’t care about the filler “Intermission” thing. The vocals are very strong add even more emotional aspect.
I really repeating every songs at least 2 times because it’s really good. I’m not biased for this score. Yes, this is the highest score I ever give for AOTY user music, but did I really care? I finally choosing to revisiting the recommendations I gotten, this one is such spellbinding.
