Reminds me with game soundtracks like Omori, Undertale, or underground Electropop artist like Disphing. Has the same energy of games or TV cartoon soundtrack that’s nicely captured.
The intro reclusive wizard leaves tower itself is already like an crazy trip of fun genre blends, first we get watered down beats and then an full-blown upbeat RPG games-like soundtrack combining Folktronica and Glitchy beats, and shooting ambient synths. but You’re serious, aren’t you ? is seriously not as ethereal as it would, very euphoric, Hyperpop, and EDM typical sounds, if you like Skrillex it’s may fits you, but it’s just so loud and doesn’t have hitting beats, the vocal is annoying. lil qoo is simply better to my ears, the vocals are equally catchy and structurally enjoyable, the beats are also pretty good. BURNMATERIAL and ( ╥﹏╥ ) is an totally ethereal club song, it’s just goes hard, but that repetitive “yah” in sad face is just huh. Even the interlude strawberry☆chop makes me wow, the glitchy and atmosphere is absolutely eargasm.
( fallout ) starts with an arcade-like piano and have more ethereal folktronica sounding, and it’s feels loudly muffled which is uniquer and fit the styles better to me. all-time chump is just an ragebait to my ear, especially the beginning..hm the elements is just blended confusedly but the vocal flow are really good. BUMPR, the synths are just very uplifting and cartoon-orchestra-esque vibey, gives me some nostalgia feeling, the beat drop is totally unnecessary tho. bbbackboard is just magnificent and folky vibe, and totally my favorite vocal performance here. Recap : like tryna to be acoustic downtempo uh, end-up huh. landslide is an very glitchy closer that feels blends all the genre and sounds of the album, nicely fit.
