Welcome to another path of me, so I didn’t use Bearblog anymore. Now I use “Quartz”. Why did I choose that? What’s really groundbreaking of it?
It’s very customizable
I can adjust the layout, add components like rating, inject custom CSS code, or even editing almost all the things here. It’s very good. But It’s using tsx syntax that likely unfamiliar for majority, but I starts get it and make it my own.
Obsidian compatibility
Just like, who’s really like writing in code editors like Neovim, Nano, VSCode? Well, there’s might be. But I just prefer an comfortable GUI to do it. Bearblog didn’t gives me an such feeling by it’s editor, Obsidian itself is full of features. I just open the content directory as Vault and done easily.
Media management
If you need to put files and photos, just throw it into the content directory. Images, pdfs, docx, basically any stuffs, no headache.
Backlinks and Graph View
You will find it useful if you get it. The fact that it’s just backed by default makes it reliable. It’s motivates me to make references, and something useful like Genres.
Conclusion
So that’s my good points, however I get random errors frequently that’s hopefully gonna fixed, and I can’t really say anything because I didn’t understand how to fix. e.g.

After 2 days test, I find that it’s solid. For now, I will use this.
