This post is still in progress.. and done in someday

Welcome to my first playlist rating!
I bored with reviewing and listening to musics with the same sounding everyday. So I just have an great idea to exploring a little bit of everything, many good songs, also reviewing them. Thanks to Memim in AOTY, the creator of this great list! Where you can submit an songs that feels special to you. Not just like one, you can two, three, and one album!
Also note that I use my own custom Playlist in YT Music, the sorting maybe different. There’s also one created by Kierfora, but I went to my own way, with every artist have max 4 songs, with max 10 minutes for songs. “Revisited” by Willy Rodriguez, “Beach Life-In-Death” by Car Seat Headrest, “LONG SEASON” by Fishmans, “Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts 1-5)” by Pink Floyd (respectively) taken down, maybe I would give an seperate treatment.
I divided each 100 songs as different parts so I don’t run out of breath, and then divide it into 2 part again, so 50/50. I tried my best to not skip any part of all the songs, ofc!
This post style is heavily inspired by Daudix’s Untitled 2025.m3u (also great list, featuring Cheerleader by Porter Robinson!).
Part 1.0 a.k.a 50/100
Sunday, March 29, 2026.
I spent my times from around 13:00 into 18:00. Soo approximately 4 hours more, and I starts to love this idea so much.
- You’ll Be Safe Here by Rivermaya
An introduction to the list, One of you may already listen or no. Which have the shine of early 2000s MTV that you would find relate if you living in Southeast Asia. The instrument and vocal melody is just nostalgic nonetheless, an classic Post-Ska Rock. 8.4/10 - Easier to Love You by Porter Robinson
This also brings some late 2000s shine with Indietronica sprinkles, the late glitchy drop is very good. I really like SMILE! :D album, short n sweet, no skips. And this song is my standout. 8.2/10 - long story short by Taylor Swift
It’s an pretty simple Folk Pop song, but what makes it special is the Taylor. The vibe is cozy, and the production is balanced as well. 7.6/10 - Hard to Believe by Eraserheads
Very late 90s Indie Rock vibe, very playful, upbeat and unsettlingly emotional. Reminds me with some songs you would listen in Teacher’s Day. 8.6/10 - Three Little Birds by Bob Marley
Chill and joyful reggae music. Considering this is released in 1977, it’s all just the vibe and vocal. 7.6/10 - Shutter by Ben&Ben
This is weirdly very robotic and just generic Filipino’s chilly folk. But I didn’t really grabbed very much, at least it’s nice for addition to the previous vibes. 6.8/10 - Ontario Plates by Do Make Say Think
Now we’re into 3 long song runtime! Unsettling jazz wrapped all this song in Post-Rock atmosphere, but went more upbeat and one directional the more, it will lock you in eventually. 8.6/10 - Nettles by Ethel Cain
I never listen to her music before, and wow this is such a bliss to my ear. I really like the Ambient Post-Rock with Slow-paced folky structure blend that reminds me so much with To Die, To Heaven, Farewell by Bittersweet Farewell. Her vocals is really healing too. This is like something I should hear in cozy vacations. 8.6/10 - Dust Bowl by Ethel Cain
Same album as before, I really like both the production and vocals. The little less shining details with adlib repetition is really eargasm. It’s also has more Rock beats behind, the drop in second half is very surprisingly great. Should I listen to this album? 8.8/10 - Love Ridden by Fiona Apple
More pianos means more good things? The vibe is simple and melancholic, emotional or upbeat. Whatever the meaning of nice song. 8.0/10 - Otra Noche de Llorar by Mon Laferte
Didn’t expect this going to be another Pop Soul, Jazzy and Piano influenced with the cover. I didn’t know the language, but I understand the vibe. Really sounds like song moms would like, the screaming, vocal performance is everything. 8.2/10 - My One And Only Love by Mon Laferte
Way more chiller, no screaming, less soaring instruments. The vibes are just simple and nice. 8.4/10 - Sadness As A Gift by Adrienne Lenker
Wow, we really went into 10 track soulful runtime, not mad. And it’s all smoothly running, the folky instrument, upbeat vocals, slow-paced structure, a bit ochestra. 8.2/10 - No Machine by Adrienne Lenker
More repetitive guitar oriented. Really warm and chill, but very simple. But also not bad. 8.0/10 - Free Treasure by Adrienne Lenker
Pretty much the same as before, but the instruments is more pressed down. 7.8/10 - Candleflame by Adrienne Lenker
More downtempo and beautiful atmosphere, nice vocals performance, nonetheless great songs to brought in sleep! 8.2/10 - Andromeda by Weyes Blood
An Baroque Pop banger! After listening to Spelling, I was like wants to listen Weyes Blod album, but not finished cause not really grab me. Also wow, this song is 2020s masterpiece! 8.6/10 - The Worst Is Done by Weyes Blood
Another one banger again, more energy and sprinkles behind. Just magnificent. 8.8/10 - Red Leather by Future & Metro Boomin
Goodbye sweet spot! Okay, this is an chill longy Hip-Hop song with classic beats that reminds me with 39 Intro by the vocal and atmosphere for some rea- Oh, it’s featuring J. Cole my goat. 8.0/10 - Long Night Moon by Marquette
It’s different one.. Very indie, very rock, very psychedelic, very electrifying. But wait.. it’s Midwest Emo, Math Rock. So much reminds me to late 2000s rock song that would be exist in my family’s old laptop. Very joyful and childish! 8.8/10 - Good Luck Final Girl by underscores
Underscores but not electropop, instead more lo-fi Indie Post-Rock vibey? Eh why not.. But it didn’t really get me fr. I think it will better in the album? 8.0/10 - Angel On A Satellite by Magdalena Bay
Imaginal Disk? Just by this song, I didn’t surprised that album would be have 90 rating.. Just like this random song, already a hit. The pianos.. Pretty emotional and also childish, melancholic too, and the instrument change.. Wow! I should listen to the album! 8.8/10 - Offer My Love by Frost Children
Pretty chill Indie.. But that pitched vocal is kinda, ruined the song.. Simple and repetitive. But overall, I guess this passes good. 7.8/10 - Fabienk by Angine de Poitrine
Bruh what is this beat dawg.. I swear you guys didn’t even know who even this artist. Alr, this song, it’s pretty difficult mathematical rock combined with weird funky and psych atmosphere. I didn’t understand that much, and then starts build up nicely! 8.4/10 - Viva La Vida by Coldplay
WE’RE SO BACK YOOO. That is the late 2000s classic that most peoples would know. A easy-listening, dreamy, melancholic and patriotic instruments, with catchy vocals. Into an heavy uplifting song that progressively increases! Back then, they’re can make classics like this, Pls back.. 9.0/10 - Lovers in Japan by Coldplay
Hmmm… It’s not really bad for their niche, but this is lowk sounds like Harry Styles’ Cherry, but a lot more riot and progressive structural! This is song you may play in your friends casual meeting ;P. And it’s have 2 part? 8.4/10 - Strawberry Swing by Coldplay
Yeah, we have Coldplay streak here guys. This is almost as same as before, but childish. 8.0/10 - Death And All His Friends by Coldplay
Totally their most progressively heavy song to date. Everything is the Coldplay at its peak, iconic guitar riffs, also catchy in all aspect melodically. 8.8/10 - Ode To Sleep by Twenty One Pilots
Totally legendary song as a fans ^^. Vessel kinda have so much memories with me, their music is totally fun and replayable, genre-blending into deep meanings and whole concept. 8.8/10 - Screen by Twenty One Pilots
Highkey ball knowledge.. I really love this song back then, the keys are very fun and childish. Silly lyrics and rapping..very lovely. 8.2/10 - Truce by Twenty One Pilots
I lowk used to creating an corny WhatsApp status with this before, but also get mental breakdown for sure. The pianos are always here. Tears dropping, but not from my eyes, my heart. 8.8/10 - Could Have Been Me by The Struts
Let’s bring the energy back again with some Glam Rock song, never really heard this artist before. Lowk have the energy of early 2010s boyband song lol. 8.4/10 - People In The Streets by MGMT
An mid 2020s Neo-psych classic? The elements here is pretty stacked and shiny, very memorable at the most, and different. Very nice and uplifting Pop song I heard rn! 8.8/10 - I Wish I Was Joking by MGMT
Magnificent and beautiful, but still an modern Neo-psych apporach. Why did I kinda fw MGMT? 8.6/10 - Punchline by Ed Sheeran
In other, we bring some Commercial pop music from the beloved Ed Sheeran. Good? Nah.. it is generic mid slowcore watered down folk music. He never would get the Taylor’s artistic level. Didn’t really care about this one seriously. 6.4/10 - FORGONE by Quadeca
After casual Pop songs, we need to wash our ears. Here, the peak electronic folk song ever. From up to bottom, clocking in 7 minutes. Surely just listen, sounds like an warm hug. 9.0/10 - Memoria by ROSALÍA
MMM..lux. Watered down orchestral instruments with too loud vocals that honestly kinda ruining. Idk if I don’t get the language or the drop is way too late, not really grabbed me. 7.8/10 - I Know The End by Phoebe Bridgers
I kinda familiar with this song, very euphoric and trying to be mindblowing and loud as much. But it’s nice! Too good to be rated mediocre. 8.6/10 - Carnival Of The Animals: The Swan by Camille Saint-Saëns
I didn’t know which one, but I end up choose The Carnival of the Animals: XIII, The Swan. Idk how someone would choose this as their favorite song, but it could be. Beautiful little orchestra interlude, I guess? 7.0/10 - Slipping Through My Fingers by ABBA
It takes some knowledge to get this song. The vibe kinda reminds me with Hard to Believe by Eraserheads which is already in early. And also reminds me with most traditional songs I mostly heard in-country long vacation. I kinda like songs like these, any more? 8.6/10 - Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen
Totally mindblowing ball knowledge :O! If you didn’t ever played this, you maybe need to move planet. This is easily an essential of songs in Earth. Total mindblowing orchestra, choirs, guitar performance, two parts. Classic Baroque Pop of perfection. 9.2/10 - going home by Shiro SAGISU
Random song from anime soundtrack spawn in after classic, don’t report this as abuse pls.. Uh, there’s nothing really crazy with this. Just guitar, that’s it. 7.0/10 - Obstacle 1 by Interpol
An easy-going uplifting Post-Punk song. I only can understand this song with its vibe, but very much just like what I said! 8.4/10 - Untitled by Interpol
I guess I like this a lot more, the slow paced Post-Rock atmosphere and less riot is fits my taste more. And I’m not very big in Interpol, should I give their album a try? 8.8/10 - Blue Blood by Foals
Why did I feel like this an knock off version from Coldplay? Like the vibe is similiar, but way more punky and psychedelic. Also kinda watered-down feels and abstract, but I like it. 8.0/10 - White Ceiling by Parannoul
Why is my alarm beeps? Oh- Awesome Shoegaze song, and it’s clocking at straight 10 minutes. The drums, synths, electronic are nice, everything looks perfect. Eh, I feel like 8.6/10 - Youth Rebellion by Parannoul
It’s hard to review something that similiar with before, but nonetheless it’s good. ngl. I keep asking “should I listen this album” lol. 8.6/10 - Get It Together by The Go! Team
BFRRRPP- I thought it’s going some hard guitar song by the cover, but how it went into some talking pet game ahh song ;v . But yeah, it’s pretty weird to see an song that blending nostalgia from 70s into this second.. I’m actually kinda amazed but shocked. 8.8/10 - We Just Wont Be Defeated by The Go! Team
”With the power of friendship, we won’t lost!” ahh song ;U . Didn’t expect it’s going to be as cartoon as this one, very silly album ^O^ 8.0/10 - Hold Yr Terror Close by The Go! Team
Alhamdulillah, we get trough the first half of this 1/3 list! (Very concise way to say lool). Not the official ending track, this one is still childish but more downtempo. Kumon ahh song. I guess, masterpiece. 8.0/10
Part 1.5 a.k.a 100/100
Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
I actually want to continue the second part yesterday, but gets randomly headache that really piss me off.
- Everyone’s A V.I.P. To Someone by The Go! Team
Totally still as childish vibey they’re provide, but this is just really uplifting. The flute synths reminds me with Trying To Feel Alive so much. 8.2/10 - benadryl submarine by Lil Ugly Mane
My first listening to this artist. The drums and hip-hop beats combined with Neo Psych, and dreamy piano keys is pretty smoothly blended. Actually this is insane combination I ever seen so far! 8.8/10 - porcelain slightly by Lil Ugly Mane
Weirdest listening experience to my ear ever in the first 22 seconds. I seriously forget what the genre is, but it’s obviously an Shoegaze song (??). I really didn’t understand what is his music style, but it’s wow. 8.8/10 - orange over by Lil Ugly Mane
Such a bliss, his music is really weird but pretty. It’s more Indie Rock with glitchy beats coded. The spoken word in last 1 minute is so boooring. 8.4/10 - spill by Lil Ugly Mane
Nahh what.. The song before and this combined into 2 song single? Just generic folk song that actually just 1 minute, like trying to replicate kindergarten song. 7.8/10 - Never Meant by American Football
Just answer for so do, Bad Moons is the only song from this artist I listen till now. This song is incredibly old, but I didn’t remember a single bit of this. Overall, I feel like “oh just like that” the whole song. Kinda repetitive and not attractive structural for me. 8.0/10 - But The Regrets Are Killing Me by American Football
This one is way better for me, it’s more euphoric and ambient atmosphere. The vocal is more confidence too. Also relatable lyrics. 8.4/10 - Don’t Get Lost In Heaven by Gorillaz
An intro interlude into the closing title track of the album “Demon Days”. It’s totally perfect, the transition is in other world. The 2000s atmosphere is still great but aged nicely until now. 8.4/10 - Demon Days by Gorillaz
Greatest closing track I ever heard. Went from an pack of danceable songs and ended with self-contradicting song. Melodramatic at its peak. 8.8/10 - Empire Ants by Gorillaz
Totally top 10 peakest Gorillaz song ever. The melancholic atmosphere with reverb synths, downtempo vocals, with watered down yet fast paced beats. Combines as heavenly eargasm. With OMG drop you ever heard at the second half. It would be an regret if you never listen to this song before you died. 9.0/10 - On Melancholy Hill by Gorillaz
Too high. Too high. But low? Too low. Too low. 9.2/10 - Together Again by Janet
Okay this song really cooks well. An dance-pop songs with wall hitting House beats but also have downtempo atmosphere, and key changes. To be honest..This is really really good! I’m totally a fan of these mix. 9.0/10 - Real Life by ear
This is actually have almost the same atmosphere as before wow, but more electrifying and frying + Electropop influence. 8.4/10 - Wash Me Down by Ween
Didn’t get pretty much vibe by this. Just Soft-Rock song I can simply find in early 2010s music ripping blogspot (just if I already grown enough and able to use computer) 7.0/10 - I Want Wind To Blow by The Microphones
Old folk classic. Kinda just didn’t blow me away (in first listen be like), I prefer Natural Snow Buildings if I want something light on the ears and quiet. But I guess I give an pass by the late drop. But I have better question, why it’s have to be released on.. 8.4/10 - The Glow Pt. 2 by by The Microphones
What an harsh way to begin. But then just like went into quieter Chamber Folk song and chill vocals. And the vibes went into Radiohead Kid A type song. What happens fr. But..awesome! 8.6/10 - The Moon by The Microphones
The Moon… Cave? Very unsettling atmosphere switch I ever heard, and then it’s really uplifting and melancholic trumpets (or Jazz?). 8.4/10 - Headless Horseman by The Microphones
Nicely beautiful. Hatefully so quiet. Sounds like Interlude. 7.8/10 - Sistanem by JID
An peak album “The Forever Story” they’re say.. HEY TONY! is my first JID song, and this is actually an nice mood switch from the quiet song before. An chill hitting Hip Hop beats with JID signature killer flows. But not feels full enough without listen the actual album.. 8.8/10 - Kody Blu 31 by JID
Instant highly replayable song. The vocals and instruments have so high energy and really fun, catchy and memorable overall. Not the most fun, but amazing. 8.8/10 - 39 Intro by J. Cole
Not biased, but for me this is the most mind-blowing song I heard this year. The flavorful beat switch all over the song with heartfelt vocals and lyrics, impressive rap flow. His best song to date easily. 9.0/10 - Through The Wire by Kanye West
I still remember the first time I listening this song. The classic crunchy beats, an catchy sample behind the song. I still find this song genius. 8.8/10 - あの夢をなぞって by Yoasobi
Finally get into this track- This is my own pick. This is a song that held me tight since 2020 when I still in my cringe Gachatuber era. And I still love this song so much until now, relatable for any aspect of love in my life. Covid era when I’m in 3st grade (peak innocent time), and now High school. After hearing so much songs, still no one changes my perspective of this song. Greatest J-Pop song of all time, or simply song. I biased. 10/10 - I Don’t Love You by My Chemical Romance
How could this song appear after such an uplifting love song.. But really, it’s really touched my heart just from the first piano seconds.. The vocals, lyrics and atmosphere is really devastating so much. I can’t, I’m really weak for this song. 9.0/10 - Disenchanted by My Chemical Romance
Peak song title. Basically, enchanted meant amazed by awesome life. But adding “dis” is such an clever idea. The vibe is like Deathconsciousness, an album about devastated by life, but more Punk Rock oriented and more devastating vocals. 8.6/10 - Famous Last Words by My Chemical Romance
Totally an legendary song of all time. TBP is an concept album so I think I had to think more about it, actually amazed by these songs. 8.8/10 - Ain’t No High by Paris, Texas
Interesting..we went to an song that seamlessly running throught this Emo Rock with kinda chiller atmosphere, not very strong as I thought. 8.0/10 - Would It Kill You To Just Be A Little Less Loud??? by Stay Safe, Little One
What even those names mean.. It’s actually a little more loud than the previous song so it would kill you instead, and it’s kinda replicates MCR songs. And it’s actually released on this year. 8.2/10 - Hoppípolla by Sigur Rós
Oh, it’s an total maximalist Ambient Post-Rock song with Pop structure. The production is awesome, thought the vocal is okay. Very uplifting and melancholic, the keys are predictable and memorable. Just like typical Samsung Unpacked Over the Horizon song. 8.6/10 - Lavender Buds by MF Doom
I’m not grown up playing MF Doom, so sorry guys, I’m not an good music lover at all. I didn’t even know this song existence. This is peak, for real. 8.8/10 - Ladies & gentlemen we are floating in space by Spiritualized
Ladies & gentlemen.. we are.. CHARL-[beep] Very dreamy atmosphere, uplifting, rocket spacey vibes, all of that. Nothing really much. 8.6/10 - Unrecorded by M83
An longy shoegaze instrumental, uplifting and very Digital Transmission vibey. M83 is really innovative back then, Midnight City is my favorite song from their. 8.6/10 - Mykonos by Fleet Foxes
Hm..I never really such an fan of vanilla Indie oriented, so it’s basically an mediocre to me. 8.0/10 - As by Stevie Wonder
aa genuine peak 9.0/10 - So You Wanna Be A Superhero by Carissa’s Wierd
S i c de is an bad thing right.. The production is actually an simple Indie slowcore, but the fact that the lyrics is based on perspective event after that was too late and regret is bitter. I love this. 8.6/10 - Tar Tongue by Vundabar
From 6 minutes, I guess it’s just sounds like that. Same issues when Indie not my fav genre, the drop is passable. 8.0/10 - #19 by Aphex Twin
Selected Ambient Classic. It’s actually 10:15 but exceeded just 15 seconds so why not? 8.8/10 - Rhubarb Orc. 19.53 Rev by Aphex Twin
Selected Ambient Classic again!!! It’s time to dive in Aphex Twin discography, kyaaahh 8.8/10 - “With Every Heartbeat”
