Just an magnificent time 🌠“THE BEST DREAM YOU EVER HAVE” EXPERIENCE
Well this is just crazy, I’m really enjoyed it a lot, and really deserving more attentions. It’s not perfect, but it’s takes an crazy amount of influences and production.
It’s actually reminds me so much with Spelling’s The Turning Wheel with the piano Post-Rock in Butterfly’s Ballad, and with the Joji-like Dream Pop and more electronic blend. From The Feelingsea with an impressive drop, and also sometimes reminds me with Gorillaz 2D vocals in Hard To Forget, even in Take It Now with hypnotic bass. And Therefore The Sadness is very New Age, and the synths are more intense.
Leans more toward on Piano Rock and Downtempo in the middle part. The Winds reminds me with 21P’s Goner, Hard To Forget and Shallows Of Depthseas. Backdoors Of My Mind is very progressive electronic and Drum and Bass, and it’s starts MORE NOISY. Submarine To Reach The Surface is starts to gives more Psychedelic vibes. Look Out, You’ll See Stars is having an very intense and faster tempo piano and watered-down vocals that very Quadeca’s Scrapyard coded, with Hyperpop synths in the middle.
Lonely Heart Ballad is being an 11 minutes, I know it’s going to be lit. Starts from drumnbass with more psychedelic, and an heart-breaking downtempo piano ballad that’s like Radiohead’s Videotape, and lullabies-like piano keys like No Surprises, overall the structural of this song is very good. This album closed with Ancient Love, Newer Self reminds me with Alan Walker’s prime, especially Sky (with Alex Skrindo), and this hits me very hard ;)
Overall, this is really cohesive, unique and almost perfect!
I think the songwriting and vocal flow is good, but carried a lot by the instruments.
This with Tales of Afterglow is both the most perfect level AOTY user project I ever heard of all time. Good job for y’all hard work 🔥
